Events

We are taking part in the Hopton Hall Month of Art event which starts on Thursday, 2nd July.

We have huts on the 4th, 5th, 25th and 26th July, where works of art from the group will be displayed and members will be actively creating their own new pieces which draw inspiration from the exterior of Hopton Hall and its gardens. Completed work scan be entered in the art competition at the end of the month, where a public vote will determine the winning pieces. 

If you are attending Hopton on any of those dates, please bring along your painting. If you are not going, I will be happy to collect paintings at Wednesday’s group meeting and take them with me on Saturday. Our aim is to showcase the quality and variety of our members’ work and generate interest in the group and our exhibition.

Paintings may be put up for sale.

 Annual Art Exhibition

Our annual exhibition of our artwork will take place at All Saints Church, Wingerworth.

Many different artwork styles and mediums will be on exhibition and there will also be some art for sale.
